MIT grad Marissa Acosta's film tells the tale of "The Late Risers Club" a ragtag group of community radio disc jockeys who band together to create the first radio program in Boston to play punk rock on a daily basis. As a bastion of the alternative, WMBR's Late Risers Club created the template that's now a staple of college radio programming . Many of the original dj's moved on to top-rated
commercial stations and media outlets after pushing MIT's humble 10 watt station to the brink of destruction and you'll hear all about it!
